What is DPC?

Direct Primary Care (DPC) puts medical providers and patients in charge of healthcare and wellness decisions by removing insurance as the intermediary. Direct primary care is a renewed healthcare model for delivering care with service transparency and cost simplicity.

What is Multi Medicine?

Multi Medicine is a direct care (DPC) membership-based healthcare collective. We have multiple providers all working together to achieve your best outcome. We have a medical practitioner specialized in family medicine, a chiropractor, and a physical therapist. This means that you have to look no further for all your primary and wellness needs.

Why is Multi Medicine Different?

We spend our time where it really matters, with our members. We take an extremely hands on approach. Your primary provider will complete everything from taking your vitals to administering your prescription. We believe that when we build great relationships with our community it allows our members to build a great relationship with their health.

Do I need a membership if I don’t require frequent medical attention?

YES! We believe that being proactive with your health will reduce your medical costs in the future. Invest now so that you can spend more time later doing things that you love! Multi Medicine specializes in preventative care. Our innovative care practices integrate chiropractic and physical therapy into a low-cost and time respectful regimen to help you attain the life you desire long-term.

What should I expect during the initial visit?

Our goal is to provide the best and highest quality care by building a personal relationship with each patient.  In order to do so, we spend a full hour during the initial medical visit, in this visit we will cover your medical history, perform an initial comprehensive examination and provide you with a recommended care plan.

What is a Multi Medicine Meet & Greet?

This is a fun community-like event that allows you to visit our office, and meet our providers without any obligation of membership. We will spend a few moments chatting over what you desire in a medical and wellness practice. We will review our direct care and wellness options and send you home with a smile and some more information. This is the best opportunity to ask questions and allow us to address any of your concerns.

Can I have my initial visit via teleHealth?

No. To establish care and become a member we require that you visit our office. We want to shake your hand and welcome you to the community. We also would like to review your medical history and get an initial physical examination before we transition to the televisit technology.

Are there yearly billing options?

Yes. We offer a 10% discount for a 1-year commitment paid upfront.

What if I want to cancel my membership at Multi Medicine?

We greatly value our patients and hope to create long lasting relationships, in the case that this doesn’t work out, you may cancel your membership anytime with written notice.

I love Multi Medicine, do you have a referral program?

Yes! We love building our community. We offer a free month credit with each referral that signs up with a direct care membership.

Can I use my health insurance?

No, this is one of the biggest advantages of our care model. By foregoing relationships with third parties for our care we are able to offer wholesale prices on laboratory testing, prescription meds and imaging. This cost and time savings is passed directly to you.

If I have health insurance, can I benefit from visiting Multi Medicine?

Yes. Our direct model creates a pricing structure that often competes with co-pays. Establishing care with us will allow you unlimited access to a medical professional, attentive and extended patient visits, same-day appointments, televisits so you never have to leave your home, and labs, imaging, and prescriptions. All these benefits are achieved through our direct care membership which are benefits you do not have access to with most typical insurance plans.

As a member of Multi Medicine, do I still need health insurance?

We encourage our members to continue to be enrolled in a major medical plan/high deductible plan. This ensures that your financial needs are covered in the event of a hospitalization is necessary.  We encourage our members to visit Multi Medicine for all their healthcare needs outside of extenuating or emergent circumstances.

Are my medical records ever shared with insurance carriers or pharmaceutical companies?

No, we treat our members with the utmost privacy, we will not share your medical records with any insurance networks or pharmaceutical companies unless you directly request us to do so.

If I have Medicare can I still join Multi Medicine?

Yes. We have numerous patients that carry Medicare and receive care from our primary care provider.  It should be noted that Medicare patients aren’t eligible for any Physical Therapy wellness services at this time due to Medicare guidelines.

Is my membership to Multi Medicine tax deductible and can I use it as part of my HSA?

Not at this time. We have great hope that this will soon change, but at this time we encourage you to consult with your tax professional to clarify your particular circumstances.

What happens If i need to go see a specialist or go to the hospital?

We have a network of providers that we work with in numerous fields, however these visits won’t be included in our membership.  We strongly encourage our patients to carry major medical insurance in the event that you have to go to the hospital. 

Can kids become members of Multi Medicine?

Yes, absolutely! We encourage families to join as members. We serve patients ages 4 and above.

Can I get prescriptions only at Multi Medicine?

No. We can only offer our discounted prescription pricing to members of Multi Medicine.

Can I contact my Multi Medicine provider after hours or while traveling? If so, how?

Yes. We understand that illness and injury don’t respect our daily office hours. We do offer Telehealth visits on a case-by-case basis. We are also able to call in prescriptions to a nearby pharmacy when necessary. Chiropractic and physical therapy consultations require an in-person visit. If there should be an emergency, please visit an ER or Urgent Care for treatment.

I am not a member and I would like to be seen by a medical provider, may I visit Multi Medicine?

No, we can’t administer treatment to non-members. However, we welcome you to visit our office and allow us to introduce you to our team at a later time.
