What’s Direct Primary Care?

Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a model of healthcare that puts patient care first. This model allows us to create a plan that provides comprehensive care centered around one goal, investing in you. DPC is often called concierge medicine and the terms are used interchangeably.  The doctor patient relationship is the most important aspect of all care.

What is Multi-Medicine?

Multi-medicine is Denver’s first Direct Primary Care practice that has incorporated rehab doctors.  We offer healthcare that is thorough, immediate, comprehensive, and affordable.  We offer treatment for a wide variety of ailments and proactive treatment plans.

What sets Multi-Medicine apart from other practices?

At Multi-Medicine we have changed how providers see patients.  We spend our time where it really matters, working together to create a treatment plan that is best suited for each individual. Not only do we provide expert medical care, we also provide physical therapy and chiropractic treatments to comprehensively work toward you feeling your best. We value the custom healthcare that we provide, and we believe you deserve care that is convenient and affordable.

Will I benefit from Multi-Medicine if I don’t require frequent medical attention?

Definitely.  We believe that being proactive with your health is of the utmost importance.  What we offer is custom healthcare membership that is tailor-made for each individual’s needs. We will help build a comprehensive plan that includes care from all providers that is best fit for you.  This allows you to invest in yourself now with the future in mind.

Does Multi-Medicine accept health insurance?

No, this is one of the biggest advantages of our care model. We provide you will consistent care, on an as-needed basis. We do not depend on insurance companies to mandate care parameters. By foregoing relationships with third parties for our care we are able to offer whole sale prices on laboratory testing and imaging; because of this, the savings is passed to you!

Does every visit need to be in person?

No. We are sensitive to your changing schedule and we recognize that it’s not always possible to come in to the office for your visit.  The initial consultation must be done in-person. Subsequent follow-up visits with our primary care provider may be conducted via email, phone, or video.

As a patient of Multi-Medicine, will I still need health insurance?

Yes.  We encourage our members to continue to be enrolled in a major medical plan/high deductible plan.  This ensures that your financial needs are covered in the event of a hospitalization or when a specialist referral is necessary.  We work with individuals who can help you create a plan that is specific for your needs.

Can you help me find affordable insurance for my family or my business?

Yes, we work with industry leaders who understand exactly what we offer and how our memberships are an excellent supplement to health insurance. We would be happy to talk through your options for the membership that fits with your current coverage.

If I have health insurance and/or Medicare, can I still join Multi-Medicine?

Yes.  We will have you sign a one-time waiver stating that neither you nor your Multi providers will directly bill your insurance or Medicare for our services.  Our membership will help you to feel your best proactively and your insurance coverage will help your financial burden if you need hospitalization or specialty visits.

Is my membership to Multi-Medicine tax deductible?

Not at this time.  Please consult with your tax professional to clarify your particular circumstances.

What happens if I need to go see a specialist or go to the hospital?

With our proactive approach to healthcare, we seek to minimize these types of occurrences.  In instances where this level of care is required, we will work directly with your specialist or on-site provider.  Depending on the circumstance we may have to consult with a specialized doctor and offer you a referral.

Can children become members of Multi-Medicine?

Absolutely.  We would be happy to treat your children (4 to 18 years of age).  All children must be accompanied by a Multi-Medicine adult member.

Can I contact my Multi provider(s) after hours? If so, how?

Yes. We understand that illness and injury don’t respect our daily office hours.  You will have access to our Multi providers via email and phone, 24/7.  We believe in custom healthcare and strive to do whatever we can when the time arises.

What if I need medical attention while I’m traveling?

We understand that sickness happens away from home and in many cases while traveling.  Since we have a close relationship with our patients, we’ll know your health history.  Most illnesses* can be diagnosed via phone, email, televisit, or text.  We will help locate your nearest pharmacy and call your prescription in to be picked up wherever life has taken you.

*There are some extreme circumstances that we will not be able to treat remotely. In case of emergency please call 911.

What should I expect during my initial visit?

Our goal is to provide the best and highest quality care by building a personal relationship with each patient.  In order to do so, we spend a full hour during the initial visit, in this visit we will cover your medical history, perform an initial comprehensive examination and provide you will a recommended care plan. You will clearly understand which membership is best for you and you will be introduced to your care team!

Are my medical records ever shared with insurance carriers or pharmaceutical companies?

No. We don’t participate in any insurance networks and aren’t obligated to share any records.  If you specifically ask for us to do this then we would be happy to.

How will I know if the providers of Multi-Medicine are right for me and my family?

We created multi-medicine with community in mind. We invite you and your family to visit and get to know our team. We know you have many options when selecting the care for your family and we will never take that lightly. Help us to earn your trust by visiting our office and allowing us to put together a care plan that is made just for you.

If I am on Medicaid, can I become a member?

Unfortunately, you can not become a member, you are required to select providers through Medicaid.
